National Preparedness Month

National Preparedness Month

During this National Preparedness Month, we encourage all Texans to remain vigilant and ready. Natural and man-made disasters can happen anytime and anywhere – take this time to ensure resilience. Stay informed by knowing potential risks and hazards in your region and sign up for alerts from trusted sources. Build a kit by preparing essential supplies in case of evacuation or shelter in place. Make a plan by knowing ahead of time what actions to take and how to communicate in emergency situations.
